What is your biggest running accomplishment on the concrete?
Running several 1/2 marathons. I've ran some small fun runs such as the 49ers 5k in 2014 and had an improved fast time of 8:34 per mile.

Why do you run?
I ran track in middle school and high school (4x4 relay, 400 meters, long jump) and since then running has just been apart of me. It would be cliche for me to say "to lose weight" because I'm just naturally skinny. Therefore, it makes me feel good inside that I accomplished something mentally and physically challenging that ultimately keeps me healthy, strong, and active. I'm a certified scuba diver and kite-board surfer.. Stamina is key - cardio enhanced that! And I started running 1/2 marathons that benefit any cancer research when my best friend passed away several years ago. We didn't find a cure for my best friend but down the road we will find s cure and I'd in some way like to think I was apart of it even if it was a tiny impact.

What inspires you?
Lots of things inspire me in general... But what inspires me to run are other people's run stories and running with those people.
