What is your biggest running accomplishment on the concrete?
I've always hated running, but one day I felt like I needed to start exercising. At first, my goal was to run for 5 minutes nonstop and that was such a challenge! I kept at it and ran my first half marathon in October 2012 and also started doing obstacle course racing the following month and I haven't stopped doing either one. It's such a great sense of accomplishment crossing that finish line!
Why do you run?
I run because it's a challenge for me. I'm reminded that I love that challenge when I can't run due to an injury.
What inspires you?
Fitness inspires me to start running and my accomplishments motivate me to push myself to do even better.
